This was our 12th high altitude expedition trek to Everest Base Camp at 5364m altitude in beautiful Nepal. Long walk crossing Cho La Pass at 5420m and then the amazing Gokyo.
Gokyo Ri peak at 5360m. The Gokyo area is mesmerising beauty. It was very demanding but a fantastic experience. Excellent weather conditions. However on 12 Oct there was dance clouds so all flights were suspended. We flew by helicopter.
